Weddings are a unique opportunity to come together for the pure purpose of celebration. We put the trials and tribulations of everyday life aside to support the uniting of two people and bask in the joy of love, family and friends. When Esther Cha and James Lee were planning their wedding for November 3, 2012, they could never have known that a devastating Hurricane would threaten to change all their plans. However, through a great community effort from their bridal party, guests and vendors they pulled off a small miracle. The wedding was able to proceed as planned with the only “hitch” being the Bride and Groom’s nuptials!
As a New York based business our hearts go out to all of those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Esther and James’ wedding is a small victory in the wake of so much devastation but a joyous story that speaks to the meaning of marriage and family.
